BC Rescue Scripts: Rod and Gun
i've had these done for ages and never posted them. huh. oops. i love the rescue scripts, because as small as they are, they really do a nice job of illustrating the relationships between the characters involved. the scripts for everybody gets kinda long, so i'll post these in pairs.
these all start out the same way, with a little intro where Tseng gives you your mission orders. these little opening spiels don't really change much depending on what character you are playing:
Tseng: [Playable character]! What's the current status?
Playable Turk: I've arrived at the point of entry.
Tseng: Good. Then begin the retrieval. Find [other character] and get [him/her] out of there. [He/She] was taken to the jail after being apprehended--it's within the inner banquet hall. You know how to get inside, right?
Playable Turk: [you can choose yes or no here, and i suppose trigger a tutorial if you say no, but we'll go with a resounding] Of course, sir.
Tseng: Once you've gotten inside, all correspondence between us will be cut off. You'll be on your own. Bring [other character] back without fail.
Playable Turk: Roger!
Andrew (Rod)
Rosalind (Gun)
Andrew: Yo, Roz!
Rosalind: Andrew...
Andrew: Well aren't you just the saddest thing I ever saw...
Rosalind: I'm sorry. I've inconvenienced everyone.
Andrew: Nah--just be more careful next time, okay?

Andrew: No worries. [he gets her free] All right, let's blow this popsicle stand. [you know he'd say something like that...]

Andrew: Oh, you know...I just decided, "Hey, I'm'a go help that dummy Rafe out".

Rafe: I really screwed up this time.
Andrew: Yeah, well, that's part of your charm. C'mon, let's blow this popsicle stand.

Andrew: Yeah, yeah, I got it, I got it... But I'm only going through this much trouble because it's you.
Samantha: ...What...did you just say?
Andrew: Er--nothing. Come on, let's blow this popsicle stand.

Andrew: Escape mission, successful! Okay, now don't you do anything rash from here on out, you hear me?
Samantha: Yeah, I know. And don't you get caught going back, either! Although...if you got caught, then I'd get to rescue you! So I guess it's all good.
Andrew: Pfff, as if I'd get caught. Catch you later!
Samantha: Arrivederci~~ [she actually just uses a kinda outdated and silly way of saying goodbye in Japanese, sort of like saying, "farewell~~", but i think this suits her somehow. XD]
Cyr (Grappler Female)
Andrew: Yo, Cyr!
Cyr: Andrew! Why have you come?
Andrew: Thought I'd come give you a hand.
Cyr: ...My apologies. To think that I could have been so careless...!
Andrew: Don't worry too much; just be more careful next time. I'm gonna get you out now.
Cyr: I'll repay you for this someday.
Andrew: No worries. All right, let's blow this popsicle stand. [it never gets old!]
